WhatsUpHollywood.com sat down with the star of Man from Reno, Ayako Fujitani and the director, Dave Boyle, to discuss their mystery thriller set in San Francisco. Since the film is bilingual, Ayako talked about the challenge of speaking both language back and forth in one scene. Dave talks about his taste in acting style, and the talent of his leading actress, and the origins of the film. Yes, we ask our signature question to Ayako: her worst audition experience.

Here is the extended version of the interview:

Ayako Fujitani talked about working with the very handsome and famous Japanese actor Kazuki Kitamura as well as the struggle to transition from the Japanese film industry to Hollywood.

Dave Boyle talks about translation challenges in the script stage for this film and portraying Japanese culture in his films.
