A former Special Forces soldier, military contractor, mercenary ties to reconnect with his long time love, but his past actions and associates refuse to be ignored, becoming himself the target to his former hit squad. Morel talks to us about what it was like directing and working with Sean Penn and Javier Bardem, his transition from a cinematographer to director, and gives his advice to all young filmmakers out there.
