Sixteen year old Jesse (Played by Elle Fanning) leaves her small town and heads to Los Angeles with aspirations to become a model. Shielded by her naivety and blinded by a manipulative agent, she is quickly by devoured by a group of beauty-obsessed women who will take any means necessary to get what she has. Also worth noting is the uber creepy photographer played by Dexter‘s Desmond Harrington.
While the perception of who is actually the demon changes more than the outfits in the fashion shows, viewers of The Neon Demon will walk away with a very clear message; beauty may only be skin deep, but evil runs deep to the core.
