Mother’s Day is the latest star studded ensemble partnered with a holiday from director Garry Marshall. This time around Marshall brings together Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts, Jason Sudeikis , and Kate Hudson for a heart warming comedy that follows three generations who’s lives intertwine in the week leading up to Mother’s Day.
Sandy (Aniston) is a stressed-out, single mom who learns that her ex-husband is marrying a younger woman. Her friend Jesse (Hudson) is a fitness freak who doesn’t tell her parents that she has a family. Bradley (Sudeikis) is a widower who’s trying to raise two daughters on his own, while Miranda (Roberts) is too busy with her career to worry about having children. When their respective problems start coming to a head, the Mother’s Day holiday takes on a special meaning.
Watch as cast members share their take on their characters in the film and Garry Marshall shares how he created the idea for the movie as well as his blockbuster classic, Pretty Woman.
