Actor Sean Penn talks with Whatsuphollywood.com in an interview for his latest action film, The Gunman. The two-time Academy Award winner stars as Terrier, a former Special Forces soldier, military contractor, mercenary who becomes the target to his former hit squad. Penn discusses with us his experience working in South Africa, the humanitarian nature of the film, diversity in Hollywood, and of course, the controversy surrounding his “green card” comment at the Oscars.

The Gunman is out in theaters now.
